First Book in Teen Years.

The first book in my teen years I read was the giver.
It all started in middle school, 8th grade reading class. A nice women, with long blonde hair, pale skin, and obsessed with korean things, like I was but she had a reason. She was a english teacher from korea, and just arrived in America. I won't say her name, but she was my most favorite teacher, and the only teacher I can remember in middle school. She helped me a lot with my social anxiety, by making me read this book out loud to the class a lot. At the time I really didn't like it, but now looking back moments like that made me approve with my communication, and social skills. Now getting to the book, the giver is about a world that only see black, and white, a world without pain, suffering, murdering birth, and love. A world where they don't even know what feelings are, and to get rid of them, at a sorting age they put them to death. Until one day, Jonas graudates, and get selected to be the Receiver of Memory. He learns of the past, and what color is, and so on. I started to fall in love with the book, I would go to lunch, skipping ahead of the class, and reading a chapter ahead. That is also when I stared reading, and collecting other books from the school library, and now I go to the public library for fun. But anyways,
I think my teacher realize how much I loved that book, cause at the end of the school year,
the last day she let me keep it. And till this day I read it still...
